Performance marketing

Protect tracking and understand every post-click journey.

Attribution doesn't usually break loudly. It breaks quietly — a redirect drops a query string, and a month of paid traffic reports as Direct.

What breaks today

The four things that cost you most.

Each one is a real failure mode, and each has a specific answer.

01

UTMs stripped somewhere in the redirect chain

TrackLink walks the full chain, hop by hop, and tells you which hop dropped the query string. That's the difference between a campaign that reports and one that doesn't.

02

Inconsistent tagging splitting your reports

Workspace-level UTM templates and validation mean utm_source=Facebook and utm_source=facebook stop being two different rows in your analytics.

03

Destinations that change after the ad is approved

Monitoring compares the destination against what you launched with, and alerts when the page you approved is no longer the page traffic lands on.

04

Clicks that don't reconcile with sessions

Unique-visitor tracking, referrer and device breakdowns, plus server-side conversions that an ad blocker can't drop.

In practice

Why the numbers never matched

Your ad platform reports 10,000 clicks. Your analytics reports 6,400 sessions from that campaign, and 3,100 of them as Direct. Some of that gap is real — bounces before the page loads, prefetching, blockers. But if one hop in the chain issues a 302 that drops the query string, those sessions aren't lost, they're misfiled. Inspecting the chain tells you which of the two you're looking at.
